Music is a universal language. It has the ability to calm our spirits or lighten our moods. Sometimes music uses words but often it offers the comfort we seek using melodious melodies only. Many people have never had the opportunity of seeing the harp up close and personal. They have never had a chance to understand how it is played. Marie enjoys playing mini concerts for church services. She enjoys sharing with her audiences many interesting facts about this instrument as well as telling how God brought the harp into her life.
Marie maintains her belief that the harp is God’s choice of musical instruments. After all, David played the harp and he was “a man after God’s own heart”. Marie considers this type program to be a big part of her ministry. Usually this type of service is selected for a Sunday evening service. It is more relaxed and audiences feel comfortable asking questions at the end of the program.
